Harley Therapy Platform

Harley Street in London is known as the home of prestigious private medical practitioners. It's also the home base of Harley Therapy Platform, an online booking platform for counsellors and psychotherapists. Harley Therapy's mission is to make getting professional counselling as accessible and straightforward as possible from anywhere in the UK, either online via Skype, in person, or by phone.

Co-founder and CTO Iain Donaldson is responsible for all of Harley Therapy's technology, including the company's BI architecture. He says the company needed to create a data warehouse, but was concentrating its development efforts on its own platform. That meant looking for tools and services that could get them up and running quickly.

"We looked at a few ETL alternatives; Stitch seemed the one we could get results from quickest. Your response to questions early on was super fast and very informed."

Donaldson says it took him just a couple of hours to get the first process up and running. "It was super easy compared to what I did at a previous role, where I employed data engineers, managed data pipelines, and spent huge amounts of energy getting to even the basic level of a data warehouse. We were able to have data and dashboards available pretty much from day one with very little investment, and I have confidence my data will get where I need it to be.

"I love that I can just create an integration, configure it, and within a few hours I've got data from that source in my warehouse. Not having to worry about whether it's working makes me happy operationally too."
